Essence Map
Essence Map: See the landscape of your spirit.
An Essence Map is a hand-crafted, mixed-media soul portrait that translates your inner energy into color, texture, and symbol. Each one is created through ritual and intuitive listening — part artwork, part spiritual mirror.
Rather than capturing how you look, it reveals how you feel on a deeper level: the layers of memory, growth, and becoming that live beneath your surface.

- Original Essence Map artwork — created on canvas board using collage and mixed media.
- Written interpretation (1–2 pages) — a message from the process explaining the symbols, colors, and energies that appeared.
- Grounded spiritual ritual — every piece begins with meditation, prayer, and reflection on your completed questionnaire.

What an Essence Map Is

Spirit Guide Portrait
A portrait of a specific guide that steps forward and desires to work with you. A written profile of the Spirit Guide will be provided that will include name, specialty, pertinent information, and how they are here to help you.

Soul Portrait
Soul Portrait: Similar to an Aura Photograph, this is a rendering of what energies (based on colors and locations) make up your aura and what your higher self wants you to know. The colors and locations are decoded and documented in a detailed handout.

Little Lift Cards
Give yourself or someone you love a Little Lift. A handmade card (Artist Trading Card Size) is hand-created based on information provided in our questionnaire. It may include an affirmation or inspirational word or just an energetic expression of what Spirit wishes to provide.

Goddess Inspired Card
An intuitively created Goddess Inspired ‘Trading’ Card. Do you desire to know if there is a goddess waiting to create with you? Deb will intuitively work with your energies and using oracle, goddess energy, and other tools bring forward your Goddess. The hand-created trading card will be inspired by your Goddess and the energies surrounding you. The card will include Goddess information and any messages received during the process.

Metaphysical & Spirit Art Story
After being certified in Intuitive Art and after taking a few additional classes I felt that something needed to change in how I used that certification. I sat with Spirit and in a collaborative effort my Soul Portrait was born.
I introduced my Soul Portrait in 2022 at a Metaphysical Fair in Northern Virginia. That May several portraits were done that looked near exactly to their aura photograph done on the same day. I felt that perhaps there is more to this, how can the Soul Portrait grow.
Fast forward to May 2025, same event and I meet a wonderful couple and they each have a portrait done. These two portraits were such a gift as so much more came forward, these portraits and the accompanying readings were true gifts. I felt that the Soul Portrait needed to expand.
I am still sitting with what that will look like, but… it is now October 2025, and I receive a message from JeKaren Bell, one of the recipients of the Soul Portraits I just described. Her portrait has been speaking to her since May, as a starting point we have a conversation.
A collaboration is born and heART and SOULutions Metaphysical and Spirit Art is born.
That conversation was so synchronous that Spirit led it the entire way. Parts of the conversation were truly Spirit inspired, and they had planted the same ideas into two people who were meeting that day. Our collaboration is still a work in progress, but offerings have been created, you can follow the link(s) to learn more about the offerings that were born and to meet JeKaren.
